I'm here.
In my study corner.
Watching how the air is lighter in April.
And how anti-slip gravel is getting cleared
off the sidewalks and parking lot.
Empty branches
on bushes look green.
The promise of spring is as tantalizing
as the promise of a thesis completed.
The days will pass, and it will
get done.
And spring will come.
