pop!

The spring season has officially been uncorked.  I'm not toasting with champagne, but with a steady flow of sunshine mingled with the seawater that let my kayak glide through its glistening waves yesterday.

When I get to be out and about in nature without the layers of clothing required by minus degrees, it heralds a new season.  Not only was Sunday the first kayaking day, it was also the first biking day!

Here's to wind in your hair, a chorus of birds and purple crocuses in the yard! Prost!

It's spring fever.  That is what the name of it is.  And when you've got it, you want - oh, you don't quite know what it is you do want, but it just fairly makes your heart ache, you want it so!  ~Mark Twain
